My Mission

The Purple Project, is an online non-profit business, founded by Maddi, a 16 year old from Christchurch with a passion for helping people.

I created this project in honor of the passing of two beautiful girls, Maddie and Portia, who were failed by the mental health system. I hope to make them proud, and not only raise awareness for the massive lack of support in the mental health system, but also hopefully make a change, to increase support and end the stigma of mental illness.

I aim to raise money, then donating all proceeds to Youthline NZ, to help youth in New Zealand struggling with there mental health. I aim to extend my line of mental health support systems in future.

As someone who struggles with mental illness, and has been through the mental health system in New Zealand, I know how ridiculously difficult it is to get proper help and support.
